In the beautiful city of Málaga, the P2GreeN Consortium recently gathered for its 2nd Transnational Meeting, between the 16th and 19th of October 2023 and the results were great. With a focus on sustainability, knowledge sharing, and impactful discussions, this meeting was pivotal in the P2GreeN project’s journey.
The meeting commenced with comprehensive recaps of the P2GreeN project’s journey thus far. Partners delved into the progress made during the past months, highlighting milestones and achievements that are propelling the project forward. These reviews served as a valuable foundation for what was to come.
One of the hallmarks of the meeting was the depth and breadth of the discussions that took place. Partners engaged in conversations that not only delved into the project’s core objectives but also explored potential avenues for innovation and collaboration. These stimulating exchanges were at the heart of the meeting’s success.
To foster a sense of togetherness and relaxation among partners, an enjoyable conference dinner was held in the city center of Malaga. The evening allowed everyone to unwind, share stories, and strengthen the bonds that make collaborative efforts like P2GreeN so powerful.
During the 2nd day of the meeting, partners embarked on an exciting excursion to explore the Spanish pilot site. The visit to the TROPS facility provided firsthand insights into the project’s practical implementations, connecting theory to reality.
Throughout the subsequent days, knowledge sharing was a key theme. Various workshops were conducted, focusing on diverse aspects of the project. These interactive sessions encouraged a dynamic exchange of ideas, ensuring that everyone left with a deeper understanding of P2GreeN’s goals and ambitions.
One of the highlights of the meeting was the cross-fertilization workshop, where key stakeholders from Spain, Sweden, and Germany came together. Led by our 3 pilot clusters, this workshop provided a unique opportunity to gain fresh perspectives and create synergies that can drive the project’s success.
As the meeting drew to a close, Triodos Bank took the stage, offering valuable insights into financing opportunities. Understanding the financial aspects and opportunities is crucial, and these insights will help steer P2GreeN in the right direction.
P2GreeN extends its sincere gratitude to BIOAZUL, TROPS, Cetaqua – Water Technology Centre, AgriSmartData, and PERFORACIONES AXARAGUA SL for their invaluable contributions to this meeting. Without the dedication of these partners, the success of the Málaga meeting would not have been possible.
The P2GreeN Consortium is excited about the prospects on the horizon. As they look forward to more successful meetings in the future, the commitment to sustainability, innovation, and fruitful collaboration remains unwavering.
