“Towards a Circular, Regenerative and Competitive Bioeconomy.”

🟢 What’s it about?
The new strategy, expected by the end of 2025, aims to promote the sustainable use of biological resources for food, materials, energy, and services. It will focus on:
- Increasing resource efficiency and circularity in bio-based sectors
- Scaling up innovative bioeconomy solutions
- Ensuring a competitive and sustainable supply of biomass
- Strengthening rural development and creating green jobs
- Reducing reliance on fossil fuels
